Hello Friends and Family,
I'm psyched to be able to share a couple of upcoming dates with you.
Once again, some friends will be joining me at Starry Nights (University
& Atlantic), Friday, September 1st, 9-11 PM, 271-2630. If the weather is
good, we'll be playing out under the stars. We've had a great time
playing here in the past. Hope you can join us.
Another date to add to your social calendar is Saturday, September 9th,
7-9 PM. The BW Band will be crankin' it up at Milestone's (East Ave.).
Chances are, there will be a $5 cover charge. This will be a great night
of music together.
Please save the date of Friday, October 13th. We will be doing a
Lifesong concert at Fairport United Methodist Church (Church St. in
Fairport). A portion of the proceeds from this concert will benefit a
special non-for-profit organization called Hekima Place, a Kenyan
boarding school, founded in 2005, is a beacon of hope for these
children. Orphaned by HIV/AIDS, Hekima (meaning "wisdom") Place provides
a stable home for girls in the elementary and secondary grades while
they learn ... a place of safety, comfort and love. Please consider
supporting their work and coming out that night in great numbers. We
will be joined by some very special guests. More information to come as
we draw closer to this date. (If you would like more information about
