Hey everybody,
As I sat in the shelter of my living room this past weekend it hit me extra hard that I'm truly Blessed to have this luxury.  Surrounded by my loving family, a quick phone call from friends, a fridge with food, our health, drinkable water, and freedom to safely take the dog for a walk, and sooooo much more that I can easily take for granted.  

At the same time, our men and women, moms and dads, sons and daughters, brothers and sisters are fighting for their lives and the lives of others.  Apart from their loved ones, battling the elements,  perhaps unable to contact others, unable to simply relax and watch a ball game or have friends over for a cookout etc.............You know what I mean, don't you?  I've never been in the service, but I do want to lift up all our troops in prayer, in thanks for their courage and conviction.  I am awestruck by their endless commitment.  The BWBand has the great privilege of playing at the Canandaigua VA grounds on Wednesday, July 6th, 5-7 pm.  Come join us if you can, and together, let's celebrate and honor the many who have given all.
